"De-Multiplexing" an audio file

I recorded an interview the other day for my master thesis using iRig Recorder on Android phone. During the export the audio file got messed up and now the audio sounds like it was mixed with a delay effect (kind of a stuttering) - it seems like the delay is constant, so I'm thinking that it might be possible to straighten the audio through an automated process - using Csound or some other audio manipulation tool.
Anybody got an idea?
