I want to make glitch samples out of my tunes at work on my phone.
Is it possible yet? I've got no idea how far mobile sequencing has come.
Just needs to play wav & mp3, vst, automation, & recording/bouncing ...
Possible yet ?
any good android vst & wave file hosts/sequencers?

There is no VST for any Android or iOS applications but there is apps with modules in them effects and sound generators. I would take a look at the following apps as they are more complete and allows you to do fully produced songs...
SunVox
Caustic 3
G-stomper 3
Syntheogen
Reactable
Nanoloop
and one that have a sequencer workflow that drives me up the wall is FL Studio Mobile that is quite limited so far but it is changing with the updates...
This are to me all flexible and with multitrack with plenty of sound shaping options and with automation possibilities.
Then there is some multi track recording apps but the only one that offers zero latency and only if you connect it with a USB Sound Card is Audio Evolution Mobile and that is if you also get USB Sound Recorder PRO in combination.
But these apps are depending on what device you have as some demands more CPU and it all depends on what kind of workflow you feel comfortable with...
I am behind a website that writes about Android music applications where you can find pretty much information... musicalandroid.com that may be of help?

ive read a bit more about this and apparently you cant get vsts, because they arent coded for android, correct?
i only wanted to use some vsts (theres about 3-4 which i really like at the mo)
maybe i should look into getting a cheap win8 phablet or whatever they're called 8", although i imagine the GUI will be a bit of a nightmare..
