Hi ,

I want to create artwork to accompany my mo3 music tracks, to pop them along side on say, my soundcloud page.

Where & wot would I use to make artwork for each track I produce please?
I currently use my band log artwork but I want individual track artwork for each track I release to the web.

If you want to create something but don't have a clear idea and need help to get going, it's always a good idea to check out the artwork of other artists in your genre and give it your own twist. Ideally you should come up with something personal, though. Exressing yourself etc.

I cheat.

There are art asset sites that sell stills you can use in your own for royalty-free. I buy a pile of those, drag 'em into Photoshop, then layer, mangle, twist, and generally abuse the heck out of them.

Thankfully I create ambient music, so dark surreal semi-abstract is what the doctor ordered!

If you want to have a great free graphic program, you could use Inkscape or Paint.NET!

breed your artwork. look for fractal generator applications.
