MIDI Files Included:

'Afro House Session 1' includes MIDI files for the majority of musical phrases heard in each Kit, allowing you to seamlessly mix your favourite synths and samplers with the sounds contained in the pack.

Advantages of MIDI:

While the supplied ACID/Apple Loops/REX content is extremely flexible and powerful, MIDI has the added benefit of allowing you to go to extremes of pitch and tempo beyond which the loops were originally recorded, with no time stretching or pitch shifting artifacts. Furthermore, you can make tweaks to the riffs so they fit perfectly into your existing mixes.

One-Shot Samples:

Each Construction Kit features one-shot melodic and drum samples, allowing you to create new beats, fills and loops to compliment the existing material. Simply load them up into your sampler of choice and create an infinite number of new beats and phrases. This product also includes a large number of additional One-Shot samples not heard in the Construction Kits themselves.

Dry/Wet Loops:

For users looking to simply drag and drop, the 'wet' files contain all of the effects processing heard in the audio demos. But for producers looking to create their own effects mix, 'dry' loops are also included. Don't like the wet loops? No problem, add your own effects.

Unlooped Riffs/Tails:

This sample library also comes with unlooped/tail versions allowing you to end a phrase with the decay of the reverb/delay applied to the loop. This is particularly useful for beginner and intermediate producers.

Lennar Digital's Sylenth is one of the most powerful Virtual Analog synth plugins on the market, and 'Afro House Session 1' provides you with 18 stunning presets for it. Use them to create new complimentary content, or as a starting point for your own patches.

About using the OMF files (Arrangements):

OMF format (Open Media Format) allows you to import complete arrangements of audio loops into virtually any sequencer (see below for list). Once the OMF has been loaded, you will see all of the regions of the track on screen, with chunks of audio data on separate tracks, all named by instrument (as if you'd produced the track yourself).

This format allows you to (i) Learn the secrets of how to create stunning Afro House tracks (ii) Remix the arrangements to create powerful new tracks which you can then release.

Dry loops were used when building the OMF files so feel free to add your own reverb and/or favourite FX to a phrase. PLEASE NOTE: The OMF files sum up all volumes of the individual tracks while all faders are set to 0 db. Therefore, please set your master fader to around -7 db (or less) to avoid clipping and take it from there.
