syncing microkorg XL+ arpeggiator with iPad

Hi,

My band has an iPad mini and a Microkorg XL+.

We're trying to play a song live. It begins with our keyboard player, by herself (no other instruments), playing an arpeggiated sound on the Microkorg.

4 measures later, the backing track comes in. The backing track is on our iPad.

Is there a way for me to sync my iPad with the microkorg arpeggiator such that the backing track will come in at the correct time?
