We are happy to Introduce Valve Filter VF-1.
Our first VST/AU/AAX effect plug-in.

Valve Filter VF-1 is a multimode resonant filter plug-in with vintage valve emulation. The filter section is modelled after a classic ladder filter with low pass and high pass modes. The valve section is modelled after the vintage Telefunken ECC83 tubes but with added grit and custom gain control.

- Multimode resonant filter: LP and HP
- Valve Emulation with drive
- Preset system with randomizer
- Formats: VST2, AU, and AAX (32/64bit)
- Platforms: OSX, Windows

Thanks! We were thinking about an introductory price (what we usually do with our sample libraries) but since it was our first effect plug-in, we wanted to test the waters first. So the price may go up a bit in the future.

I bought it anyway! I really liked the sound in the demos.

Although, I've not had a chance to play with it yet.

Well, it looks like a good start so far, but I'll give you a proper update when I get hands on.

Bought it, along with a couple of other VSTs, and I love it. Honestly I was sold by the GUI, but after using it on two projects I fell in love with the sound. The drive is a bit too harsh on its own, but the filter is just great.

I've been testing it on drums and some synths. I like it a lot! Great job from AudioThing.

The Good:

Nice smooth filters.
Simple to use.
Lovely resonance - even when driven.
Creamy drive delivers a very nice sound.
Lovely Gui.
low price.

The Bad:

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes the drive and also the resonance may be a bit too much at high values but they are easy to "tame"

Demo available at the bottom of the page: Valve Filter VF-1 | AudioThing
In demo mode the plug-in will output silence for 6 seconds every 20 seconds.

We also updated it to v1.0.5 fixing a couple of bugs and adding support for more DAWs (check the list of supported hosts/DAWs at the bottom of the product page).
If you bought the plug-in you can update installing the demo version.
