A new filter "LPDL" has been added in filter section.
-It is a low-pass filter modeled after the diode ladder mounted on TB303, etc..
-It is close to "LP24" Because it is the filter of the fourth order, but it is fat and darker than "LP24" feel.
-Lower frequency also increase the resonance does not decrease. I think that it fits well in the synth bass.
-This filter is over-sampling process if the sampling frequency is 44.1/48KHz.
Accuracy of the square wave has been improved. (8 multiple detune of osc1 are excluded)
Cut-off frequency of the "LP24" is now moving more smoothly.
BugFix
-Fixed a problem that a big noise has occurred at synth1 startup once in a while.
-Fixed a problem that the LFO is not synchronized with the DAW once in a while.
-Fixed a problem that the sound of synth1 is greatly changed once in a while when you change the sampling frequency in DAW.
-Fixed a problem that DAW is crushed once in a while when you change the sampling frequency in DAW.

Quite a lot of action recently
Are you the developer? How can we donate something? Haven't found anything on your chaotic, mostly Japanese site
I only wish a native English speaker would rewrite the installation and update instructions so that one can easily understand them. Frankly, I don't understand them...

There was a (unofficial) synth1 site by zorniko on sites.google.com with a paypal button. Unfortunately this site has been deleted recently.fluffy_little_something wrote:How can we donate something?

He said "I want more synth1 user, so I have no interest in business" at interview few years ago.
Actually, he does not set PayPal button.
I think he needs native English speaker help for translate website / manual.
If you want to be the translator, please send translated text to him.
You can see email adress at page bottom.
Bilingual is better.

Plugin folder directory is appointed by host aplication.

Well, how can I translate or rewrite what I don't understand?
Like when you download that new zipped folder. I extract it and then what? Do I have to move it somewhere? (I suppose I should not move it to my VST directory else step two (replacing a dll) would not make sense.)
I ran that reg2ini.exe from the extracted folder on my desktop, but got an error message saying there is no such registry entry.

You just put it in your VST folder. If you had an older Synth1 version there, overwrite it. reg2ini.exe is used only if you're moving from an older version which used registry (1.08 or so) to the newer versions which don't use the registry but .ini file instead (I think that started with 1.11 but not sure).

Ah ok, that explains the reg2ini thingy.EvilDragon wrote:You just put it in your VST folder. So, all the other folders and items in that downloaded folder have not been updated and should be ignored/deleted? I only replace the dll by the new one so as to keep color settings and stuff?

That synth is very good for brass and synth basses, but it has a certain metallic sound in my view, warm pads, strings, etc. are not its strength.
