Folks -- we released Apollo Remote Recorder late last week. It runs on iOS (and is designed for Audiobus), and you can control the recording with MIDI. The app has a built-in web server, making it easy to grab recordings. The intention is to let you use a desktop DAW, send MIDI to an iOS device, easily record iOS synths, and then move the recordings back to your DAW. Personally, I'm a Logic junkie, and after dealing with a bunch of the iOS DAWs, decided a switch wasn't ever going to happen -- but I still wanted to use Animoog, Thor, and things like that.

The app should work with pretty much anything that can send MIDI to iOS, and that has a working web browser. Here's an intro video -- let me know if you've got questions....
