Thanks

I've tested them all in Savihost, except for the guitar one that was only a head, virtual audio cabled it into another savihost cab sim.

I use TobyBear's MiniHost. It's pretty old but I use it on an almost daily basis. I have it so that when I click on any 32-bit DLL plug-in file it will open in MiniHost. Very fast. Super-useful.

All but one 32-bit VST plug-in from DC14 opened in MiniHost. The exception is the ReFine plug-in by lkjb.
ReFine opens fine in VSTHost.

The two main problems (or blessings, depending on how one looks at it) with MiniHost is that it won't open 64-bit plug-ins and it will only load one plug-in at a time, no chaining. I don't think TobyBear is doing any more updates on MiniHost.

I use Reaper for chaining. I chained two Guitar Gadgets, no problem.

Image-Line also has a VST host named MiniHost. Maybe TobyBear is working for Image-Line now.

Edit: I am now able to open ReFine in MiniHost. It must have been a bug fixed. Great. :)

Reaper is small enough ...

i prefer Savihost, because its small, you can play with the
PC-Keyboard and you make a folder for each Plugin, that gives
a good overview at >30 Pluggys ;)
