Hey guys!.. I have 2 questions!..

1. Is there a quality difference If your making your entire track In 1 single pattern? Instead of more?

2. Is there any quality difference If you turn Down volume knobs on each vst channel/sample Channel.. Instead of Turning Down on linked mixer Channel?

I hope I do understand the question correct.

All instruments into 1 pattern is very limited. Let's say that you want to add reverb to a synth but not to the kick. you will have to send the kick and the synth to separate mixer tracks, right?

If you split each instrument into their own patterns, and link each pattern to the mixer, you have more freedom to add FX and stuff.

No and no...with the exception that turning down the volume pre-effects will change how those effects process the audio obviously, but with no effects on there should be no difference at all

Patterns and mixer tracks are completely separate in FL, you can route generators to mixer tracks however you want and it makes no difference if a pattern has one kick or every instrument being used.

I separate all instruments into different patterns to give me as much freedom as possible, while creatin. That's just my workflow.

If working from 1 pattern is no problem for you, do it! As long as it sounds good.

Thanks man!.. Ive been working with all tracks In one pattern!.. So my playlist is basicly!.. Some samples.. Automations.. And one single pattern!..

One pattern? Do you not understand the basic principles of pattern based working in FL?

Patterns in FL are designed to be a sort of building blocks for your music. E. g. you may create a bass line pattern (4 bars) and melody pattern (8 bars) and then combine them in the Playlist just doubling the bass pattern (placing it twice). Patterns are not related to the Mixer at all. If you feel comfortable placing all in one pattern do so! It doesn't affect sound quality at all. Patterns are an instrument of composing, not mixing.

Yes, it's right.
