I have done a forum search and found nothing, so I just thought I would mention that Saltline have just released another free synth - Cedr a 2 oscillator subtractive synthesizer with a 16 step pitch sequencer. I have had a quick play around and it's really interesting and looks pretty darn cool too.
Get it here - http://www.saltline.co.uk/cedr.html
Cedr is currently available in 32 bit VST format for windows only

I got the code of Saltline synths now
Drzewo is polish for 'tree'
Swierk, Brzoza and Cedr translates as Spruce, Birch and Cedar
Obviously good ol' Saltline is a tree hugger Just like me

Checking it out now, mighty fine synth, the big sequencer display is fun, easy to change them on the fly

It's still a bit rough around the edges (getting some clicking/poppy sounds on and off in FL Studio with certain presets- no, not the "running out of CPU" kind), but IMO the most interesting Saltline synth to date Sure, it's got the 8bit aspect fully covered, but it's capable of so much more (love the onboard delay btw - I wish more ffects would get implemented in the other Saltline synths as well) - that step sequencer is something else Way to go

The ability to turn steps on and off are a plus too, just a pity that there is no random pan option - unless I am not seeing it.

I'm intruiged by the clues left by Saltline, so they hail from Cheshire, and of course there is a lot of salt deposit and salt mining going on there

I was always wondering why you give them polish names, especially they aren't easy to read for foreigners. Although the idea of trees as names it's really nice one and I like synths too
