I just bought the deluxe edition of Some Great Reward (by DM), and realized I now have 4 copies of it.

The tape I got back in spring '85 is still with me, and then I got it on vinyl later and another CD version too.

Old k7 tape in my ancient car borrowed to my aunt ( the tape, not the car

), immdeidatly followed by a decent 2nd hand Vynil version, then CD version and now MP3s .......

I think the only thing I've bought more than one of is Timeless by Goldie.

I bought the one with the white cover, then relaised that the one with the dark cover has some different tunes and different version of tunes that are on the other one, so bought that too.

I ended up preferring the versions on the white one, but nevermind.

I might have doubles of exactly the same vinyl records when my brother decided he was moving somewhere that he couldn't take his record-player and donated most of his collection to me. Tubular Bells & Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield, some Yes records, mostly pre-80's stuff generally - a couple of Ozric Tentacles LPs maybe.

tape, vinyl, cd, and the remastered gold cd.

i dont even have a tape player or turntable anymore.

I never knew that - I have the black double CD since it first came out. What's different?

Edit - according to this the double has more tracks (obviously) but it doesn't say anything about the ones that are on both being different:

I have 3 copies: 2 vinyls (1973 and 1988) and the remastered "Dark side of the moon" cd edition. They're gifts, though.
The only album I've bought two times is "Off The Wall" by Michael Jackson because someone stole my first copy during a party...

Yeah I have DSOTM on CD and twice on vinyl as I bought the 180gram remaster last year.

Think I might have it on tape too somewhere

LTJ Bukem presents Progression Sessions 4. Only 2 copies though, the CD's, and the digital copy (which is better than the CD version, because it also has the single tracks included).

Otherwise,

I've purchased 'Ian Brown - Music of the Spheres' a few times.

I've purchased 'Rage Against The Machine' - about five times.

Loads of things that got lost or given away and then repurchased etc.

There's a lot more.

I have some vinyl in the loft. We were meant to sort that last weekend but, ah, forgot. So I'm not sure what's up there but I'll have some of it on CD, I'm sure -- probably all of it on Marillion remasters or singles box sets as I think I kept all the 12" picture discs when I got rid of all my LPs. Other than that... I seem to have ended up with two copies of i and thou's speak (it's so good I bought it twice... forgot I already had it!) and I got The Incredible String Band's The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter a few months before finding the boxset including it for a quid more... so now I've a spare.

(I've re-bought on CD quite a lot of what I had on LP but I'm not counting that as it was about 10 years after getting rid of the LPs I started rebuying... I do still have the list of my LPs somewhere, I think.)

I have 3 copies of both The Smiths and New Order's entire album catalog. Duplicates of other random things - Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Simon & Garfunkel.

Deftones - White Pony (4 times, Grey cover, Black & Red cover Special Edition and White cover re-issue version)
Meshuggah - Feck nose know, Nothing twice as they re-nothing-d it and the same with their I EP which was re-I'd this year plus another few albums and EPs with different and/or bonus tracks)
Quite a lot of Justin K Broaderick projects/albums, Similar deal to Meshuggah

Plenty more but those are the few that come to mind off the top of my head, I got sick of keeping up with every version and now usually wait to buy albums I'm certain will be re-pushed with extra tracks/bonus discs...etc.
