Could i give away my cakewalk account for free?

I see people trying to sell it, but I just don't think it's right to do that.

Anyhow the account has Rapture & Z3TA+2 for both OSX and PC. I uninstalled my copy and just don't use it.. I've been finding that Zebra and Bazille both basically have me covered for most of the stuff i would want from Z3TA+2.

It's not a bad synthesizer, but I just have no use for it. I just need other peoples thoughts on what i should do. One thing i don't like is having something i don't use when other people could have the chance to use it..


Should i contact cakewalk and ask them if i can do it? Should i just forget about it and just not use it anymore?

Is it possible to give it away? Yes. By changing some account details. Some can be changed and some can't.
Is it allowed? I don't think so.
Did I give away my account? Yes.
Is the account holder happily using the gear I bought? Yes.
Am I happier knowing that someone is getting use out of gear I wouldn't be using? Yes.
Is this a strange way to respond to your questions? More than likely.

I gave away my Energy XT license to someone looking for a cheap DAW, and glad just see someone getting some use out of it. Hope it's as easy with Cakewalk.

If you ask them they will probably say no. If you want to help someone and give it away, don't ask them.
The original email will always be used as the log in username but the contact email can be changed.
