Sampletank ios not receiving midi data from beatmaker 2 after latest update...

This is copied from the IK Support forum. I have received no responses there, so I'm turning here for help, or ideas:

Hi there everyone! I must be doing something wrong since I can't find anyone else with this issue. I have the latest updates for both sampletank and beatmaker 2 and all of a sudden, I can't trigger sampletank from beatmaker. Doesn't matter if it's from a keyboard instrument or the piano roll in BM2. It worked perfectly before, now my projects don't work. . I can trigger other synths, Cassini for example, just fine from BM2. iPhone 4s, ios 8.

Any one have any thoughts?

Just adding information for completion....

It is a known issue and IK are working on it. Someone on the IK forum found a clever workaround involving thumbjam (luckily, I own that too!). Basically, if you route the midi out of BM2 into thumbjam while having midi thru activated in thumbjam, sampletank receives the information. However you do need to turn off certain input settings to avoid a very noisy loop type situation.
