I co-produced a song with this cat, I had the beat originally, then he sent over a beat, I took parts from his beat and added to mine and finished it and got it placed with a well know rapper, The thing is, he's signed to a production company & the production company is saying that "He PRODUCED THE BEAT" and we co-produced and everything should go through him. Can the artist still put the song out even if we haven't agreed on terms yet? Or will this hold up anything?
