Where to download full version of Mavericks

Hi
I need to upgrade my MacPro, currently running at 10.6.8, to Mavericks. Yosemite is not a possibility since I have applications not yet compatible with Yosemite.
In the App Store Mavericks is not any longer available. I found some downloads, but they are only updates from 10.9.x to 10.9.5
Any ideas, clues, links, etc.?
Cheers

I don't see Mavericks available anywhere. They will probably offer it on the Apple store in the future.
But why do you need it? If you're in a hurry you can get Mountain Lion for 19$ from the Apple Store.

I'm in a hurry to setup my home studio, so I can finally start working there too.
I don't want to install a previous version, then install 200 plugins, just to re-install everything later again, if the update from mountain lion to 10.9.5 fails. I'd like setup the computer and leave the system as is, as long as possible. Without any OS-updates.

An older version is less likely to have problems. Upgrading will break some stuff. That's the nature of the beast. What advantages will upgrading to Mavericks bring you? On this thread, a comment says his Mac is slower on Mavericks :

There is an article about upgrading to Mavericks here, it seems there is no full version disk for it so you may need to wipe your Mac :

I wiped the disk and installed a fresh 10.6.8 from DVD. Then the only upgrade offered by Apple is to Yosebiteme
As you asked me, I realized there is no actual "need" for Mavericks, just for 64bit. So I also could install 10.8.x
But then again, I'd like to have a full version of 10.8.x that I can install on a wiped system disk.

I downloaded Mavericks when it was available, free, from Apple site. I'm scared shitless of it; I'm considering Lion or even Mountain Lion since NI has finally managed to create software that will totally not work under Snow Leopard. Mavericks, no. Let alone this Yosemite. Apple, what's the rush?
I wouldn't do it without having a clone of SL, though.
It's not so hard to find a download of Mavericks but I can't tell you about it here and stay within forum rules I think.

It is actually hard to find the full installer of 6GB. But if I found a solution. And it was fairly easy, IF you already had once downloaded Mavericks from the App Store.
Just go to your purchases... stupid me, haven't thought about that
I guess if you bought other (older) OSX versions via App Store, you'll find them there too. I just redownloaded it from the store.

I was forced to upgrade having missed the Mavericks download on the App store as I stayed with Lion. I upgraded directly to Yosemite. I don't find there's much problem with it.
Only two plugs I've noticed that don't load up into Logic X and that is Steinbergs Halion 5 and Padshop Pro.
Steinberg have made a temporary installer for their programs, if you are doing a fresh Yosemite disk, and the two programs mentioned above do get installed no issues there: Halion 5 works in stand alone modus, and both Halion 5 and Padshop Pro load without problems into my other host Numerology Pro 4..
I don't notice any slowing down of my computer with Yosemite btw..

Oh. hmmm, that [App Store history] makes sense. I think I have never purchased from The App Store, I did Mavericks and a couple of things which were equally free.
I expect to hate everything past Snow Leopard but I may do Mountain Lion, no problem with a clone of SL on a second boot drive.
I happened across full downloads of all three looking for information about restoring SL from Lion and ML. The Mavericks looked legit, but...

I just thought I add my recent experience with updating to Yosemite. The Steinberg special patch for the installation of their Apps works on Yosemite, but didn't show up in Logic X, but I do have it working now as I loaded Automat 4.8 onto Yosemite, autoamap setup tagged Padshop Pro and Halion 5 as automat apps and now they can be seen by Logic X..TwoToneshuzz wrote:I was forced to upgrade having missed the Mavericks download on the App store as I stayed with Lion.
