from those little cassette recorders in the early 70's to a DAW I have had so many tape recorders picking a favorite even for each style might be tough. However, one kind of started my love of recording. In the 70's I got my first recorder that I could record albums in stereo, I loved being able to set the input level and have VU meters.

I remember the xmas I got it so well
