Has anyone used both Push and one of these iOS apps? I'm looking at going with one of these and thought I'd ask for opinions. I will most likely buy one of these 3 along with Live. Are there any differences between these 3? I know Push has the pads that are touch sensitive for velocity and aftertouch, but are the apps work just as well as Push. Anything these products have that the other doesn't? It's too bad these apps won't work with other DAWs. Anyone know if that is possible to use these to control other DAWs? I just didn't want to plop down the few hundred to buy Live, but I like the workflow, so I think I must if there is no other DAW it the apps will work for.

I have Push and an iPad w lemur and touchable .
I LOVE touchable and since V3 barely even touched Push .
It's just much faster in workflow and makes Push feel like going back in time.

Besides Touchable you could also use Liine's Lemur for iOS. There is a template called shove that emulates the Push and even uses the Push remote script in Ableton. Worth to have a little look at it. But I do have to say that Touchable 3 with the new Ableton device pack is really great stuff to work with.

I would say - if you want just trigger clips/scenes and control ableton devices parameters, than Touchable/Livkontrol/Lemur probably will do, but if you are about expressive live playing (drum sounds, synth parts) - than Push is much better option.

I've played around lemur and livkontrol, but since I'm not into triggering loops, I don't find much use for them. I had Push, which was excellent companion for Live, but not useful enough to control my hardware gear, so I sold it for something what obviously allows me more control over my hardware.
