Reminds me of all the "I can't believe the Earth is 2015 years old today!" tweets. I think most of them are jokes. The written word is hard to communicate humor. Twitter takes this potential misunderstanding to the extreme. That's not to say that some may be for real though.

Actually I'm not surprised at those at all. Plenty of people around here are gullible enough to believe that crap - they will even take their kids out of school and home school them so they're not exposed to the 'lies' of the school system.
