force midi analysis on bar

I have a pedal arpeggio i.e. I mean the chord is basically constant over 4 bars except for a downward walk of the lowest note in the arp down the scale i.e. that lowest note held for one measure starting on beat 1. Indeed its the same chord but if you had to write it would show up as slash chords 1 per measure.
RC's analysis is specifying chords on beat on 1.0 , 1.4, 2.3, 2.4,3.1,3.3, 3.4,4.1 ,4.4
clearly not what is intended.
If I could force RC to analyze at a time interval in this case on every bar and not in between , I think it would have been able to figure out that what we have is a case of slash chords.
Alternatively perhaps if I had dropped the lowest note to another track , it should I think be able to figure out that I have i+9 on every bar.
However, doing this would be un-natural and a workflow killer (ok , slowdown) , I would like to be able to play in an arp on the keyboards and then import that in and get the chords as intended.
So my question ? Basically, did i miss something ?
thanks

Hi amiracam,
you are right, the chord analysis should be smarter, although it is not easy to filter 'unneeded' notes that do not contribute to the harmony. MIDI import will be improved shortly. I'd be grateful if you send me the MIDI file so that the analysis can be fine-tuned.
Thanks,
Attila

You open RapidComposer.
You open the tab "Support".
You click the button "Send Feature Request". And here you are...
Of course the best is then to recall your post which is in the current thread (and your nickname if it is different in your email address).
