so I did the midi import and was not happy with the chords RC generated. I now need to remove some chords on the time line and can't see to figure out how to do that. I can add new chords but not remove them. I also see how I can replace chord.

thanks

It is a it fidgety a brief look at the tutorials and user guides seems to point to dragging them away, though that method is also used for zooming in and out setting loop point on the time line. Maybe simply highlighting the chord and hitting the delete key or maybe right clicking with an option to delete would be far better.

It may be that such a method may already be in there but (thankfully) there's such a huge range of ever expanding options It takes a while to master the basic work flow, all good fun though!

well I did try the latter 2 , since that is what comes to mind being a coder myself, no critique , multiple ways of skinning a cat.
I did try dragging away with both track pad and mouse and could not get it to happen,

thanks for feedback, it will all be good fun, getting a bit frustrated since I want to get back into composing.

Anyhow, gave up and decided that I was going add the progression that I intended i.e. (after I figured out what I had played) to the progression's browser.

Unfortunately, aaaaargh !!! , once I added my progression to the master track , it killed the line I had previously imported.

Thus my next post.

Notice the vertical line at a chord change; When you hover your mouse at the intersection the cursor changes to a horizontal line with arrow at both ends; now, <CTRL> double left click will remove the chord. EDIT: (<CMD> for the Mac guys ;) ) Seems it's the same for Mac and PC; see op's response below :tu:

Haha, I learned this the hard way too and asked here in the forum :hihi:

outsounder, you are correct; Attila has packed a lot of fun and many features into RC.

There is a lot to learn in the manual and even more coming when it is updated. :tu:

Point noted and fixed in the previous post, thanks.

But, is it just one click or a double click?

On the PC it's a double click.
