What the Hell is THAT?! - my whole soundcloud page, personal photo and uploaded music cloned in a strange site!... Without my knowledge or permission... with my PHOTO and all

I found this totally by accident while pasting "synthillator" by mistake on google (synthillator being the name i've been using on soundcloud and on my youtube channel).
I must complain about this to someone somewhere, even soundcloud, or someone else!!!
What should I do?... Anyone has had a similar experience?... WITH MY (somewhat Recent) PHOTO and all without me knowing about it! What about PRIVACY and IMAGE ownership, NOT EVEN MENTIONING COPYRIGHTS OVER MY MUSIC!... THIS IS GOING TOO FAR ALREADY!!!
HELP!...Please...

Using ARIN Whois, find out who owns the hosting service and send them a DMCA takedown notice (which you can find on the Web).

Thanks, SODDI, I never used ARIN Whois, but I'll try to give it a go (is that a program?) I'll have to google it...

Hmm .. my tunes are there too .. Didn't the soundcloud license change recently? Is this related to those changes? Needs investigation.

AHA!... good to know I'm not the only one "cloned" without permission. Could you keep us informed of whatever you find out after you investigate?

According to the WHOIS reports, the site appears to be registered to METIN AL in ISTANBUL.

There is an Admin Email in the whois reports that might be a good contact for them.

This site is just wrapping up SoundCloud content most likely to get some advertising revenue. It has none of your music stored locally. I suggest complaining to SoundCloud support. They should be able to block this site.

I clicked on download and it didn't take me to soundcloud, it appears to provide downloads directly, without never leaving the fake site.

I have to go to sleep now so I can't explain in detail. But if you use advanced inspection tools in Chrome that show network activity, you would see under the covers everything is coming from SoundCloud. Your SoundCloud stats (plays and downloads) will reflect any activity.

It's not a huge deal but if you complain to SoundCloud, they can block this content leech.

Yeah, I messaged SC "support" about something like this yesterday. In my case, it was a different website, but the page looked the same as yours, and even offered "download" links to my songs--when I don't even offer downloads on SoundCloud!

I have yet to hear back from SC support--and I'm a "Pro" member, so I get "Pro-level support" (according to them). So far, I've gotten "No-level support".

Be wary of sites like this, because many are just "attack" sites. They lure you (or your friends or family or anyone looking for your music) to the site with music to download, and then try to get you to install some "codec" or other software (like an "important update!"), which is really just a Trojan/virus.

I've asked SoundCloud to block access to these sites, which I know they can do if we report them. In the meantime, I suggest turning OFF the "display embed code" and "download" options for your songs on SC. You might even want to disable the "enable app playback", though that may cause other problems if you're linking to your page from other, legitimate sites (like KVR).

WTF! M account (free soundcloud account) is copied too and it allows download of my music, although it's not for download on soundcloud.
