but because music is music, what synth VSTi do you recommend me ?
what i own :
nord lead 2X
arturiaz minibrute
waldorf blofeld
electribe 2
emu sampler name ESI line...
ah ... i own free U-HE zebralette that sounds right too...
what i'm lookin for :
Sylenth1 !!!!!
-> i got tested it in old times, does it have a close approach like nord lead (i mean simple FM/ring and Suxx...)
-> that shit cost 129 € , i cannot eat potatoes but...
-> also tested diva, but that was much processor threatment that any "same noise"...
-> it's just to make basic old sounds...
-> i got cubase 7.5 retrologue but that got no lfo...
-> i got FREE VSTi "synth1" nord lead -like but...
do i have to cut my head and listen my knowledge and fall down while using sylenth1.

i leaning too from diva, sulenth1, "massive NI"?
there also tha "unoofficial" Nord lead emu by discoDSP http://www.discodsp.com/discoverypro/
synth1 sounds good likely but interface is horrible.
edit : one day i'll need sylenth1... but isn't too late ?
i'm common with this "easy" interface matrix...
is it still sounds good ?
(even for deep ambients patches...........)
edit: as daw i use cubase 7.5 and bitwig 1.1.6.

Vember Surge for $99.

First of all, Retrologue DOES have an LFO. Two of them actually. Please look again.
Secondly, your posts are all over the place. I can't for the life of me follow you a midst all the chaos.
So let me ask you this. What kind of music do you do? What do you feel is missing from your sound arsenal?
Otherwise, you're just going to get a lot of people naming their favorite synths and this turns into yet another pointless thread.
Answer the two questions I asked and then we can take it from there. And if you can't answer both questions that you're not ready to get another synth. Use what you have now and figure out what it is you wish you did have.

$50 korg M1 maybe $40 for opx pro player if you like their famous presets and also synthmaster has to be in this discussion because you can get the basic version on sale right now AND READ THE THREAD ABOVE, Synthmaster is the best bang for the buck soft synth out there bar none. click the ads on KVR and read about it in the link to the competition for this month that is pinned above for people in the OSC (one synth challenge). sign up for the competition and download the free player to check out the 200 free sounds in that. Additional banks are on $15 so as you can afford it you can add on more sounds. Definitely check out the demos by Nori.
Based on what you already have I definitely get synthmaster and M1 maybe if you could find total studio on sale for $100 that would be cool. Last time I saw it on sale for that it was at JR SHOP

@wagtunes i tested spectrasonics atmospshere in the past (sound amazing) but what i looking for is not "samples steam engine" stuffs like this.
it's more "why not do this in a comprehensive-easy interface ?
i bought the blofeld becoze i wanted to "plane over".. and it sounds right.
->
today i need very basic sounds : retrologue is cool but got his limits ...
and why not wavetables where we at it ?
my money is ~60 €... (can wait next month maybe)
edit: ON retrologue i meant not lfo, i mean there only 2 enveloppes...
i need at least 3-4 enveloppes , 3-4 LFOs , "3-4 OSC with why not wavetables"... 2 filters (parallel or 1+1...)
i know waldorf largo is like blofeld, but sylenth1 sound more "punchy!".
i need something i can wear there & there, on this daw or another...
i'm not here for the flma "my plug is better"...
i'm here to ask u what suit to me, and for what i need. (house, deep, tekno, ambiant, drone, space... chords.. pop 80...)
ye it' must be poly btw...

Okay, so you're looking for a bread and butter synth for about $100.yoshi303 wrote:@wagtunes i tested spectrasonics atmospshere in the past (sound amazing) but what i looking for is not "samples steam engine" stuffs like this.

Great, we're getting somewhere.
Here are a few to check out. Some of these are actually free but very bread and butter and very good. None are over $100.
U-He ACE - $79
Sonigen Modular (FREE)
Synth1 (FREE)
Sonic Academy A.N.A. - 50 pounds
U-He Tyrell N6 (FREE)
MUX Modular - 59 Euro
KarmaFX Modular - 79 Euro
Those are my suggestions. Anything else that I have that is going to be bread and butter is way more than $100 like Zebra 2 which is $200. Sometimes Synthmaster 2 is on sale for as little as $60. That won't give you more than the factory presets but if you learn to program it you can about any sound out of it.
Hope this helps.

what is good on sylenth1 is this is open synth : i mean many artists do patches on it..
it's a +positive but honestly i dont like trancey keys/pads.
.
but his interface is good and it's sound good (a bit punchy but good)
U-HE diva -> i think i cannot hold multiple instances live.

Okay, one more post and then I'm done.
Go here:
http://www.kv331audio.com/purchase.aspx
You can get Synthmaster with 800 factory patches for $99. The synth is very deep. It can make just about any sound.
Listen to my One Synth Challenge for this month using nothing but Synthmaster.
https://soundcloud.com/steven-wagenheim ... ynthmaster
Forget Hive. It's a very limited synth in comparison and it's selling for the same $99.
For the money, you can't beat Synthmaster.
That's my suggestion.
