I just bought waldorf edition 2, primarily for attack.

on my system (win 8.1/ 64 bit/ latest FL Studio) half the time when i try to change the sample in the waveform selector (not the preset wavefoms, the 'sample-based' section) the plugin freezes up, and needs to be re-initialised.

When i do manage to select a sample, if it gets pitch modded too far (by envelope and/or manual tuning knob) it freezes also.

Has anyone else got this software and can confirm the issue, or better yet, have any way round it? I wrote to Waldorf, but nothing so far, I feel a bit ripped off here.

I didn't know Waldorf Edition 2 was even out yet?

Waldorf themselves are advertising this as the "infamous collection" so no wonder there are bugs

Hi,

i am the Waldorf Beta forum manager and your email was just forwarded to me and the developer so this is not "ignored".

I had tested on Windows 7 64-bit in Cubase 8, Cubase 7.5, Live 9, Studio One 2.6, Reaper 4.77, Pro Tools 11, Pro Tools 10 and also Bitwig Studio but did not notice this isn the past. will try to check this again, maybe will also try to get the demo version of FL Studio.

If you got V1, you can upgrade to V2 for just €15

The version of 2-Pole in the LE edition seems to be the same as in the full version, so for just €20, that's a no brainer indeed

Interested in Attack as well (Bitwig Studio user).

A demo would be nice indeed.

I own a Waldorf Microwave XT Rack but that probably wouldn't grant me a demo.

How is the GUI size?

I hope it is at least 50% bigger than v1, which is very tiny now.

This is far from being ignored. At the moment everyone at Waldorf including me is involved with what you reported.

I could not get a a crash with Cubase Pro 8 and Live 9 at Windows 7 64-bit, will check in the demo of FL Studio 11 soon. Did you use version 11 or the Beta of 12?

At Waldorf also tests at OSX are done currently. With the VST plugin in Cubase Pro 8 it also seems to work properly there so far.
