Hey,

I have a question about the SLT en SLL with the envelope on spire;

I have read the manual and I found this:

SLT = time it takes the envelope to fall from the sustain level to the slope level
SLL = the level the sound sustains at after the sustain level has ended

I do understand a normal ADSR sequence but how to you 'cram' the SLT and SLL in between? When does the sustain level end? I only thought it ended when you release the note (which triggers the release function of the Envelope).

My understanding of it is that if SLL is left at it's default position ( 0 ) then SLT and SLL will have no effect and the envelope will just remain at the Sustain value. However, if you change the SLL amount then SLT is amount of time it will take for the envelope to go from the Sustain value to the SLL.

Attack - time it takes for envelope to reach its maximum.
Decay - time it takes for envelope to reach the Sustain level.
Slope Time - time it takes for envelope to go from Sustain level to Slope Level.
Release - Time from note-off for the envelope to go from Slope Level to zero.

Hope that helps.
