Or "I´m not in love - 10cc"ish choirs if you prefer that

The missing link between the workstation synthesizer choirs and real
classical choir samples.

This Enya "sound alike" vocal pads has been recorded with two different
female singers, alt and soprano, "A", "O" and "M", note by note
chromatically *6, treated, filtered and seamless looped.

100% compatible with all virtual samplers supporting the Gigasampler format
like HALion, Kontakt, EXS-24 and Emulator -X

Angelic Vocal Pads is divided into 6 different SampleSets, but also
available in a SampleSet BUNDLE or on CD-Rom

Some nice looking libraries you have there - the keyharp looks interesting too.

Be nice if the page worked. :) Half of it gives 'action cancelled' after a nice 30 second pause.

Strange. No problems here. do you know if the problems occurs on the shoping pages?

It was the shopping page, which I imagine is another server. It now works though. $9.90 for a choir? Nice. They sound great in a very unnatural sort of way. Wish you had more than one mp3 example though, but at that price, it seems worth the risk.

Yes our web shop has allways been rock solid so it must have been a very temporary glitch...

The orders are coming in now without problems :D

There will be more DEMOS ASAP for the Angelic Vocal Pads SampleSets.

I seriously doubt many members here even know who 10cc were. :(

Well, I certainly remember. The song "I'm Not in Love" featured a choir sound which was actually "played" from the mixing desk. Each track had a different pitch of voice recorded to tape, and they faded them in and out as desired. Look ma, no samplers! ;)

I also remember the Godley and Creme song "Cry" which came out after 10cc were no longer releasing albums. I thought the song and its video were both pretty cool. You have to remember that the video did morphing effects before computer morphing effects became commonplace. (I don't think that 10cc even used a computer for theirs.) These days, most people wouldn't agree with the amount of reverb in that song, but it was an artistic choice that I think suits the song well.

So, some of use definitely do remember 10cc. ;)

As for the Precision Sound demo, it does resemble a "10cc" sort of sound. I think it's pretty nice. I would expect that they might add some deeper male voices to their product selection in the future? Something similar to what they have here, but something that would extend the pitch range much lower would be a nice addition.

I like the sound of that and the price seems reasonable.

How big a download am I looking at for the AVP Bundle?

Chris.

The giga bundle is aprox 66MB in .exe rar files total. divided into 6 samplesets.

I take this change to also inform all here that there is 24bit versions on location also for download. This is mapped for HALion and Kontakt and contains 5 different programs each. For you who allready downloaded the gigs but whants the ###_24.exe files. just go there and grab them. use your unlock codes.
aprox size for the 24bit versions is 131MB

The avpsm and avpso directories don't have 24bit sample packs in them yet. Would be great if you could fix that Lars.

thanks

edit: nevermind, saw the remaining 2 files have been uploaded now. thanks!
