thanks for this one. really good and hands-on feature-set. very quick and easy results.
only thing i feel is missing: master-output control.
edit: ok, fiddling a little more, i found another "flaw".
lock-to-note does not work as expected. pitchtracking is what i assumed.
also: is there a way to have midivelocity influence output volume?

phdsg vn chfhn: No master output, I just use the DAW mixer for volume control.
There is no pitchtracking as in playing the same note as on the keyboard, lock to note is locking to one specific note. The normal would be to set to the key of the song. I have thought about how to implement a note tracking like following midi note though but it is not as straight forward as normal synths. The range where a kickdrum sounds good is quite narrow. It is less than two octaves from subsonic to going from kick to tom sounds.
There is no midi velocity to volume at the moment, it is on the list perhaps-TODO list though.
It is a tricky thing to balance between more features and keeping
Turello: nope, but it's cheap, 19$. Demo-version is free for download of course.

ah, i get it now (lock-to-note).
wasn't looking at the changed Hz-values in the tooltip
thx for clearing up.
no need for pitchtracking in a kick-synth, i agree.

Well, having ppl doing bounce down is just a thing I have to live with I suppose. I keep the price really low so if ppl want to use it can easily buy instead...unlike some competition being really expensive.
Not being super-extensive is kind of a feature as I see it. My nr 1 design goal is keeping it simple and making it easy to get good kicks. It is kind of designed after my own previous needs of just make a good solid kick so I can continue with the actual track.
Having that said more features will be added in future versions/updates as long as I can keep it backwards compatible. It is easy for example to add more thump sounds etc.
I'll look in to the EQ thing and have a look/listen at the presets!

I see a bug in Bitwig on OSX 10.10.3. I assume when Lock to Note is enabled I should see the actually note when turning the End Pitch control but instead I am seeing some garbled characters. Please see the screenshot

The garbled text for notes is most likely already fixed. I had the same issue in windows but not osx with ableton...so next build will have that one fixed. I thought it was an issue only in windows.
