Played for an hour with a single instance in Cubase 8 (on Yosemite) and it seems to work perfectly. I didn't try saving, though.
At first I was a little puzzled by the overlay options (like lfo waveform, delay type) because they didn't seem to change: the trick is clicking on the current choice on the overlay and then drag the mouse over the desired one, then clicking on the overlay to close it).
Except for this (but it could be even a choice "by design"), all the problems of the previous mac beta seem gone. I'm super happy about this release!

That's weird - I don't have to click the current choice first, just the desired one. I'm using a different DAW though (Reaper 64).sin night wrote:Played for an hour with a single instance in Cubase 8 (on Yosemite) and it seems to work perfectly. I didn't try saving, though.

Regardless - what an amazing thing for this free synth to be available on Mac in 64 bit!

Wish he'd update it with more than 100 banks possible...

I have one rather annoying GUI bug here in Cubase 8 Mac, 64-bit..
If I double-click in the Presets field, to open the Soundbanks window, there is no way to close it again, and remains Always On Top until I quit Cubase (and it is quite big! ).

I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

So far it's working pretty good for me in Cubase 7.5
It may be worth mentioning, (in case any Cubase users missed it on the ditchi site where it's written in red);
If your DAW is CUBASE, you must turn off the check box 'Receive Program Change' in Synth1 OPT-MIDI dialog. Otherwise, restoration of the patch data saved with song data goes wrong.

Hmmm, ....first I'll say I really do appreciate Daichi piping it to Mac VST 64bit, and so to help him work out some bugs for future updates, I'll try and send crash reports as they may occur.
So I opened a new project w/ only one instance of Synth1 running and nothing else, then I launched Cubase performance meter and got this crash;

yeah, that happened to me a couple of times ....couldn't close Soundbank window.vic_france wrote:I have one rather annoying GUI bug here in Cubase 8 Mac, 64-bit..
If I double-click in the Presets field, to open the Soundbanks window, there is no way to close it again, and remains Always On Top until I quit Cubase (and it is quite big! ).
You can reduce the plugin size at; opt/Panal Size/xxx%

Yeah after further playing around,it seems to be a we bit buggy on my system...10.9.5 and logic x the plug will just crash logic from time to time or it will make this crazy speaker blowing sound when changing presets(Ouch I'll take the crash over the speaker blowing sound any day)

I meant the size of the stuck Soundbanks window, not the GUI itself .funkystrings wrote:yeah, that happened to me a couple of times ....couldn't close Soundbank window.vic_france wrote:I have one rather annoying GUI bug here in Cubase 8 Mac, 64-bit..
