Korg just snuck in an iM1

Well I sure as hell wasn't expecting this:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/korg-im ... 30326?mt=8
Downloading it now... apparently has Gadget support and presets are interoperable with the AU/VST (Why doesn't Polysix do this?!?). Irritatingly, some of the cards are IAPs for 5 bucks for two packs of them.
I've never really touched the M1 VST -- prefer the simpler subtractive stuff myself -- but this is as good a time as any to learn.

Can anyone provide info on how many in app purchases are required to actually have the full instrument, and what those cost? It might be a deal breaker and I'd rather just go with the VSTi if the total cost ends up being too high. Of course I can't see any way to get that info without buying the app first.

Not too bad I guess. But then the other question is whether I want a ROMpler eating up a bunch of precious space on my iPad. Hmm...

30 bucks on top of the initial 20 for the app or inclusive?dumbledog wrote:Thirty bucks total to get everything.
edit: i see it's inclusive. this is great.
Also the UI aesthetic is quite a big step forward from the VSTi.

--I have been a fan of the M1 for many years but sold my last one probably 10 years ago, I knew then it was a mistake but now I have basically the same thing and it's great!
$30.00 for an M1 w/all of the cards? How wild is that?
Now, to use Audio Bus and see if it crashes when I try to use it and my other newest favorite synth of all time the Synthmaster Pro for ios!!
Say what you want to but these are good times for synthesiser nuts!!

Honestly, I never cared much for the M1 when it was first released. I thought the D-50 was much more interesting. And yet, I've seriously considered getting the M1 VSTi many times, just because it is such a good deal with every card ever made. And okay, I couldn't resist. I just got the iOS version.
This feels a bit like living in the future to me. If a younger version of me could have seen an entire M1 and all the cards running in this tiny touch tablet... And then there are the silver Mylar jumpsuits. Can't forget those!
