After about 2 minutes on your website, I immediately bookmarked it. What a wonderful resource for musicians... thanks for all of the information you've posted on your site. I'm looking forward to this evening when I can spend more time reading the articles, watching interviews and following along with the various tutorials. Awesome!!

I see what you mean BigCat thanks for your input.bigcat1969 wrote:Nice but you gotta review some crummy stuff cause now your average review score is 4.8 and people are gonna think you like just everything.
So far we have been focused on sharing and reviewing whats on our radar, what we know and what we like.

Don't get me wrong. Great idea and Good review site and I've bookmarked it. Just was on a game review site that I like and he was accused of being a 'shill' for gaming companies because of all his high reviews. Also you might consider reviewing free stuff from folks like Ivy Audio and Karoryfer.com? I think they are doing the best freebies.

I'm at a total loss on how you scored Apollo so high. I've already spoken to three people on several forums who purchased Apollo, and all 3 were disappointed with it....2 of them QUITE disappointed. They all expected much more for the 400 price-tag. I will hopefully get a chance to hear the library in its entirety later this week when I go up to Seattle, but from the 3 that I talked to, I won't be expecting much.bigcat1969 wrote:Nice but you gotta review some crummy stuff cause now your average review score is 4.8 and people are gonna think you like just everything.
That said though, it's always nice to see a new website such as your......as long as you are totally honest with your reviews....even if you have to occasionally disappoint big-name developers.

Tried Gravity finally and I 100% agree with the review. Great stuff in there! Gravity is definitely going on my never-ending "to buy" list.

Quantum7 I appreciate your feedback and I do hope you get a chance to check out Apollo.quantum7 wrote:

I spent a lot of time with it and have used it on 3 commercial spots already.
I am a guitar player and I haven't heard a textural guitar sample library that would captured the air and feel of working with a real guitar and amp in this way with so many options for midi control - and I use LOTS of midi cc in my work.
When you get to check out Apollo be sure to also note that every pad and swell patch has a swell start so you can dial it back to zero to get the attack .
I am sure others will have different opinions and that is fine. But as you saw on my site I also create demos using the instruments I review to give visitors to Sample library Review as much information for them to make the best educated decision if a sample library is right for them. That's why I started the site, cause I have gotten libraries myself that I didn't feel held up to the hype!
Thanks again for your feedback
