Hey!
Have been looking around for some recent update on the best way to get max/msp to control an analog modular synthesizer, with no success.
Simple question; As of right now, which is the best way to make max/msp to control an analog modular?
Expert sleepers seems to have (at least) three modules (FH-1, ES-3, ES-4) that could probably do this, but none seem convincing to me. ES-4 seems like the most appropriate solution, but it's out of production and people seem to have been complaining about the 8bit conversion(?). Otherwise I really like the idea of just having a max external to insert to my patch and not have to use silent way. Is it worth waiting for an update?
And how about the dc-coupled interfaces (motu, mainly)? How do they work, and why would a expert sleepers device be better?
Thankful for every advice!

The ES-3 (& ES-6) are the easiest choices. Just put a ~dac in your patch and your Max signals appear in your modular, job done.
