Hi. I bought the USAMO unit right when it first came out but only now am I trying to integrate it into my studio setup. From what I recall when I first received the unit I hooked everything up for a Test Mode and got it working with no errors. However, now in Test Mode I am getting consistent 25% errors with the error count quickly adding up.
my setup used:
PC Windows 10
USAMO 1.0.7 software
Reaper 5 and Ableton 9
Midas Venice F24 firewire mixer
Analog RYTM as a 2nd test soundcard via Overbridge
iConnectivity 2+ main midi
Novation Impulse 2nd test midi
I am taking an Audio Direct Out from my Midas mixer to the USAMO input. The Activity Light on the USAMO hardware unit is constantly lit when I turn the Trim knob all the way to the left. Turning it to the right turns off the Activity Light but I cannot get the Clip light to flash. If I bus the firewire input channel to a Group send to amplify the signal I can within a very narrow signal level get the Test Mode to start although with a 25% error rate. I used my Novation keyboard and another midi cable input to confirm my midi setup is not the problem. I also used my Elektron RYTM as a soundcard to confirm the Midas is not the problem. I am thinking perhaps either there is a USAMO hardware failure or something not right about the 1.0.7 plug-in. Please advise.

It seems most unlikely that the hardware would spontaneously fail simply for having not been used for a while.
If you want to try the old plug-ins, they're all still on my site. Just take the current download link and replace the version number e.g.

OK, 1 day later and now my tests using v1.06 work as expected in Test Mode..all green results in the Clock Test. The Activity and Clip lights flash as expected using both Reaper 5 and Abelton 9.
However, when not in Test mode and running playback in normal mode in either DAW used the USAMO Clip and Activity lights are solid color, not flashing. Is this normal? I also retried v1.07 and it is working the same as 1.06 now. Very strange. I did not alter my wiring from one day to the next. Cirklon appears to be following Clock as expected now.

If you're sending MIDI clock, the LEDs will be flashing so quickly they will appear solid.

ok, then all appears to be well. My Cirklon is happy following the USMAO clock now. Thanks. I still have really no idea why I was getting so many errors yesterday. I don't remember changing anything in the routing of my Midas board. I still have to bus the USAMO signal from its Input channel to a Group bus to amplify the audio signal to the USAMO, but it works.
