In the virtual music world there are a countless number of different EQ’s available...so why another one?
Well, Rob Papen is all about sound and he was convinced he could add something special to the EQ plugins.

When you first open RP-EQ in your DAW software you will see that it is far from a basic bread-and-butter equalizer. Unique elements were added to the core equalizer unit.
The toolbox includes a Mid/Side equalizer mode and Mono/Stereo split filter which is used frequently in modern EDM/Dance music styles. The Air section is fantastic on your master channel and the proven X/Y Pad adds a dynamic and creative edge to an already very musical RP-EQ.

i'm glad they improved their GUI line, i'm liking this one, and i hope such an interface will come in their other plugins.

Looks great! M/S-bands, mono split, build-in-saturation and an air adding function up till 40kHz. But as far as I understood in the video, this "Auto-Vol." is no Auto-gain, right?

If you purchased the explorer III Bundle in the last sale, I think now it's a no brainer and with the next release which will be very probably also included, it's a no-brainer bundle. The next is Prisma but nothing announced what it can

Agreed, this GUI is (imho of course) much better than any of their other offerings.

if i remember correctly one of rob's quotes, then prisma will be a shell for the other rob papen plugins, maybe something like reason's combinator or patchwork from blue cat audio

I've quite a number of high-end EQs. But the X Y feature is really calling me, as well as a few other unique things.

Reasonable price for a quality EQ as well. Most are in the $150 - $250 mark.

I'll try the demo later on today.
