I have my MP3 library songs set into the folder names that I want, however when I copy these to my iphone (I am not using iTunes or iOS music player by choice) I can get all the songs, but the folder names disappear? For example I have compilations in folders named for the decade the song was from eg 80's, 90's etc but all that gets transferred are the songs, no folder name.
Can anyone assist with how I can get this done, or suggest music player apps for iOS that will allow this?
Thanks
How to transfer folder names as written on PC folder to iPhone apps?

I think you need to add a more detailed description of how you " copy these to the iphone", before anyone can really try to help.

Using EZMP3 player on the iPhone which transfers wirelessly to the iPhone, it asks for a folder location and that's about it...it then starts transferring the song data....Maybe I need to do something with the metadata???
