I've been playing with Flowstone for a while (the FL Studio version) and really dig it. I was wondering if anyone has any idea when the 64 bit plugin export will be available? If it had be possible, I would have bought the full version long ago!

It has been requested since 4 years, but seemingly Flowstone are not interested in VST anymore.

Yup....the developer is interested mainly in educational robotics now, the flowstone forum has very long ranting threads about no 64 bit, I gave up, its never going to happen, there was even an attempt to crowdfund the development and still no go!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I see, on ImageLine's forum one of the mod said that 64 bit isn't going to happen, that's why FL Flowstone isn't in the FL Studio 12, which has a 64 bit build. I find it sad because it's a very well made software, beautiful to look at and when it doesn't crash, its work flow is fluid. You can make simple stuff as well as complex visual and textual coding, which is really nice.
So I'm going to forget about it and focus on JUCE, which, at least, has a future. (even if it takes me forever to code a plugin!).
Thanks for the replies.

I should have looked into this before buying Flowstone.
Did not realized that all people want now days are 64bit plugins. I see why. It makes since. 64bit daw = 64bit plugs. Although people could bridge the 32 bit plugins.

There are DAWs that loads 32 bit and 64 bit with an internal bridge. Here's a list of DAW that has build in 32 to 64 bit bridge:jhudstudio wrote:I should have looked into this before buying Flowstone.Did not realized that all people want now days are 64bit plugins. So it's not that bad. Obviously, if you release a plugin, even free, expect people to be annoyed by the fact that they can't use it because they are on Mac or have a DAW that doesn't has build-in bridging. If you can live with that, go ahead.
