Check out my synth http://bmxplay.sourceforge.net (http://bmxplay.sourceforge.net)
Also some webgl: http://bmxplay.sourceforge.net/webgl.html (http://bmxplay.sourceforge.net/webgl.html)
Wrote it a long while ago in 2002 but just managed to make a javascript version that works in modern browsers. It's a realtime synth that use Web Audio API (no prerendering). But funny, the whole 2-minute track can be rendered in less than a second in javascript (and I was going to port that to assembly, in 2002).
No synthetized percussion (I think it still sounds pretty terrible), just size-optimized 909 samples.
Tracks (bmx) are Buzz Tracker tunes, written using just 4 machines (_303, _delay, _filter and _xi).
Mostly based on resonant filter posted here http://www.musicdsp.org/showone.php?id=29 (http://www.musicdsp.org/showone.php?id=29)
