Thanks for informing us. I will definitely download it and check it out. Been looking forward to this one, can't wait!
T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

The new IRC IV Maximiser is very impressive, you can limit quite drastically with little distortion

Boom! Ozone 7 Advanced. The serial number is already in my account. Can't wait to try out the new EQs.

That makes one of us. Anyone else still waiting? Not that's it's been very long I would just expect it to be automatic.billcarroll wrote:Boom! Ozone 7 Advanced. The serial number is already in my account. Can't wait to try out the new EQs.

Look on the "activate software" tab of your account after logging in.audientronic wrote:That makes one of us. Anyone else still waiting? Installing it now.
Then, well, I guess it's play time.

Or, maybe you need to contact them to request it.

Just a quick note, on Windows if you do a custom install of Advanced (not sure about Standard) and use a custom directory/drive not c:\Program Files (x86), the installer puts the AuthAssistant and an "Exciter Cache" on your C: drive. If you then try and authorize the software with an iLok it will fail because the AuthAssistant dir isn't in the right place. I had to copy it to my D:\Apps drive before I could get Ozone to accept my iLok license.
I guess they never bothered testing installing to a custom directory/path and using an iLok for authorization.
Not sure about the Exciter Cache dir and why it stuck that on my C drive. I copied it also, just in case.

Does ozone 7 have a "sonnox inflator" type module? Was thinking of grabbing it while it's on sale, but if ozone has something I may just go with it instead. Or do you need both?

Install was smooth as silk. So far, I'm liking what I hear. The exciter is cool in MS mode. Definitely a step up from the one in O5.

Since it will be less than one year for Ozone 8, I'll skip this one
