Also the 'apply rhythm' bug in your video is actually the consequence of dropping an empty (that is badly saved) rhythm.

Yes, "Save Rhythm" had a major flaw, thanks for pointing this out. I have fixed that now.

Hi crossovercable!
Thanks,
Attila
We are getting closer to importing style files and working with them conveniently.
I set up the same structure as on your screenshot but I could not crash it when joining all lines into one. By any chance would it be possible to send me an .rcCOMP file which I could reproduce the crash with? TIA!
Not a bad idea...crossovercable wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 6:27 am What if you could save the structures to a structure browser ?
This would then save the controllers.
Thanks,
Attila

I re-imported the midi file because you added the split function, so I started a new session and it's not doing it now. I was going to upload it last night

That is good, because the last version had a bug when joining lines.
It left the composition structure in a corrupted state, which was prone to crashing sooner or later.

If, immediately after starting the beta RapidComposer, I press the F10 key to bring up Chord Selector, the program will crash. The crash won't happen if I first select a chord in the Master Track. Not a big bug, but...

Yes, thanks for reporting this! Unfortunately I have already built beta27, but I promise the fix will be in the next update.
Thanks!

RapidComposer v3.9b27 is available!
Please note you can drag a rhythm pattern using Alt-drag on a phrase, and drop it directly on the Rhythm browser.
Improvements:
Please note you can drag a rhythm pattern using Alt-drag on a phrase, and drop it directly on the Rhythm browser.
Improvements:
- Fixed problems with rhythm saving from the inspector
- Cosmetic changes in the inspector menus; right-click will select the menu item and close the inspector
- Inspectors keep their position when closed and reopened using shortcut 'W'
- File inspector became a menu; cosmetic changes in templates and recent compositions menus

Thanks for the new Beta v 3.9.b27.
There must be something tricky about programming the 'W'. I'm observing that 'W' is now completely non-functional for me for closing Inspectors.
Win10 64b version here, operating stand-alone.

"W" worked for me.. dunno.. anyways.. posted a new video on the new stuff, old new stuff, some new bugs, and Chord Rules tips and what is coming for that..
The new dialogs quick close introduced a bug with the harmonize function.. and found a bug in the "open progression in the progression editor"..

Hello Attila!
Thanks for the new beta - now I love how structures work! This is a great solution!
I have already found one bug) If we assume that the Time Line and the Master track should work autonomously (I hope so)), then ..
Let's try to find the point where the boundaries between the chords in the master track coincide vertically with the border between, for example, lines in the Time Line. The lines are elastic now and change their length perfectly, but .. If in the Master track you drag and change the length of the chord area, then the length of the Line in the Timeline will change synchronously. . Thank.
