Hi everyone!
I made four banks of patches for the Yamaha DX7 so far.
The Bass, Lead and Pads&Strings banks have a mix of the best patches I selected and sometimes tweaked a bit from the vast ocean of DX7 patches found on the internet plus many of the patches I programmed myself from scratch.
The last one, Dreamland has patches programmed by myself except two that are a tweaked versions of existing ones.
I give these for a donation.
Here you can listen to the demos:

That's called "selling"........alphavoyager wrote:I give these for a donation.

I guess he can't "sell" them, since they are not hisTeksonik wrote:That's called "selling"........alphavoyager wrote:I give these for a donation.
So, he calls for a donation. Seems like a grey area here, and not very correct, IMO. Anyway, I have basically everything there is available for DX7, thanks to the BlackWinny compilation made for DeXed: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 6#p5996126
He did it for free, to be used in a great (free) synth. But hey - this is a free world. If the guy is asking for a donation, and people want to give him a donation, I have nothing against. But it would be more correct to say that he is selling his own bank, and toss the other three for free as a bonus. Just my 2 cents.

Not exactly. More than half of the patches in Lead, Bass and Pad bank are my own creations and the Dreamland bank is practically entirely my creation except the two tweaked sounds.fmr wrote:I guess he can't "sell" them, since they are not hisTeksonik wrote:That's called "selling"........alphavoyager wrote:I give these for a donation.![]()

But if the admin feels this topic doesn't belong here, then remove it. No problem.
I'm asking for a donation because a lot of time and care went into creating these banks and time is money and my family is also here..., and I do the work of auditioning hundreds upon hundreds of presets and making a collection plus creating my own patches. So, would you mind supporting my effort? It spares a lot of your time, doesn't it?
Good idea about selling the Dreamland bank and include the other ones for free. I'll think about that.

I don't see any flaw when he said donation, even if this sound set is collected or not 100% from his creation. But preparing them and making some videos demonstrating them for me worth donation.
And still looking forward to know where we can download them?

Usually donation is optional.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.
