Originally invented by a Norwegian tribe of Vikings, the Party Horn has long been a musical tool to signal upcoming festivities. The sound of the party horn is instantly recognisable as a) Fun Times Ahead, b) An Enormous Headache Twelve Hours Later.
With this soundset, we’ve taken the sound of the party horn into the modern age and music production.
We sampled a high-quality party horn with a unique material combination of both plastic and colourful paper. The extraordinary sound of this orchestra-class party horn is perfectly tuned to a C, D#, B and everything in between.
Apart from ten original recordings, we’ve expanded on the sound by turning them into bagpipe-like drones, sequences and arpeggios and synth-like lead sounds.
The Vikings would be proud.
