It seems there is an IOS app called XMURE that is getting some interest.

349,00 € for VArranger? That's insane.

Wasn't that the idea of Band In A Box? Not my thing, but I think that this has been the leader of this kind of software for decades.

The OP specifically said not band in a box.

Why not Band in a Box? Maybe the OP hasn't used it since it was 100% midi, but the last few iterations with Real Tracks (since 2012 at least) are absolutely outstanding for this purpose, IMHO.

Well, BIAB is not really an arranger in the "keyboard arranger" sense, whereby one can use live accompaniment, change things on the fly, press a button and get to intros/fillins/endings. Etc.
The main aspect is LIVE full playing.
I am also looking forward for the time when one of the big ones will come up with a complete software package to replace, or at least be an alternative to Tyros, 4X, Audya, etc. For a proper "professional" package, I would gladly pay 300-400 euro. A hardware arranger is 10 times more expensive.
But we're not there yet. I would say, any time now!...

Ummm... actually, yeah, it's got a function called the Conductor, that lets you do precisely all that stuff.
And, given how awesome RealTracks (the live recordings they use now to supplement, or completely replace, MIDI phrases) have become, it just might handle everything you need. At least give it a look.

Check out Ludwig 3. It's pretty nice and makes great sounding arrangements.
There is a FREE version and a paid version.

Nice! Have not checked BIAB in a while now, but if that slowly grows into a proper live arranger - great!filkertom wrote:Ummm... actually, yeah, it's got a function called the Conductor, that lets you do precisely all that stuff.

Good to know, thanks!
