Any MiaMIDI owners, please help me out here. I just got a new system (Athlon64 3000+, Gigabyte K8VT800 mobo, ATI Radeon 9800pro) and am using my old MiaMIDI. It worked perfectly on my old system.

Now, any audio output causes the system to hang. I've contacted Echo tech support, and they're both slow and useless. It's not sharing IRQs with anything else, I've got all of the latest drivers and updates for all my shite. I don't know what to do, and it really sucks not being able to make music.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Athlon64? Could that be the problem?
I don't think Echo is supporting 64-bit systems (yet).

I only had one problem with my MiaMIDI -- loud clicking & crackling sound. I got rid of it by moving the card to another PCI slot (although there was no actual IRQ conflict)

I thought it might be, but wouldn't it make sense for them to tell me that right away then? I've been talking to the tech support guy back and for about a week now and he hasn't mentioned anything about Athlon 64 incompatibility.

Did you got this working yet? What was the reply from EchoAudio concerning the Athlon64 etc. ? I suspect the same that it most likely seems to be driver issue, but, in worstcase scenario it might even be hardware incompatibility (that referring to MiaMIDI card). Echo's techsupport seems bit slow (or just very busy?), I sent them this very same question a while ago - no replys yet. :?
