More or Less presets

i prepare new soundset for Firebird called 'Modern Pop' and so far there is 7 soundbanks with raw material but some of patches are just variations and sound very similar so my question is - is it interesting to have many variations from customers point or to pick the 'best' and to reduce them to 2-3 banks - usually if the variation is good i pick it :)my motto is 'more is better' but need opinion:)
