Because of back problems, I can't sit down, and I need to find a way to get my stage piano to a comfortable standing height. I cannot for the live of me find a stand that can get my Yamaha P-80 stage piano above 100cm (39 inches), but I need something that can go above 120cm (47 inces), since I'm quite tall.
Any ideas? My last resort is probably to by one that is 100cm, and see if I can't find a friend who can weld an extra 20cm onto it.
Tall keyboard stands? Like, really tall?

K&M Spider Pro is probably high enough. It's expensive as hell, ugly (IMO), and pretty heavy, but it's also rock solid and can hold a lot of weight. I've had one for over a year and have used it in both sitting and standing levels, with the top tier at around that 120 cm/47" height.

Can't you put the whole standard stand on a little platform?
What do you sit on when not playing?!
