Hi! I decided to put together some sounds I've made for this amazing synthie (51 in total) and share them for free. The sounds were made for use in my own tracks and also in order to explore the sound shaping abilities of Dune 2. Some of the sounds are typical trance and psy stuff, some are of more experimental nature.

Here is the individual presets demo ( I was too lazy to write a proper demosong ;) )

And here is the soundset http://www.filedropper.com/synaptictran ... onfordune2

Some sounds require additional wavetables provided by Dune 2 users. The wavetables are also included into the package. Unfortunately, because of the wavetables the archive exceeds the 20 MB file size limit so I couldn't upload it into the KVR database.

Hope you like my sounds ;)

EDIT: If you get an errorbox when loading the sounds into Dune 2, please install the latest Dune2 version available in your user service area.

Thanks a bunch :)

I'm having some trouble loading the sounds in Dune 2.50.
In the info.txt it says you used 2.51 that will be available January 18th but the error message says I need version 2.22.
The sounds do play after I close the errorbox.

Any clue what that could be? (Beta version perhaps)

It says Jan 18? Sorry, it's a typo, I meant today. Jan 16. After the original Dune2.5 release there was an additional bugfixing update, you should have it available in your user area

This error box saying 2.22 indeed appears if you load the sounds into originally released Dune 2.5.0, but the latest update fixes it.

Indeed, I tried to discover wilder and more agressive side of Dune 2 (I thought it would be interesting because the fatory patches and third party banks are mostly focused on mellow/ambient leads and pads and commercial EDM/pop sounds)

Yes thanks!

A psytrance track where you may hear some of the sounds in action.

That's not a proper demosong because the sounds were additionally processed, resampled, mangled and all that, also the drums and the bass in this track are not from Dune, but still some of the presets should be recognizable
