Could anyone give me some advice on writing chord progressions like wolfgang? Here's a few progressions I like by him, his chord progressions all seem to have a certain sound to them

Did you ever figure out some answers to your question?? I love the chordal work in so many Wolfgang Gartner songs. Songs like "Undertaker" my gueessss utilize the diminished scale or something?? Gives me spooky vibes, which fits his usage of pipe organ-sounding synths. But they aren't super sad sounding minor chord progressions. More foreboding and spooky, huh? I've been starting by researching music theory of horror music.

Really interesting stuff! Here's what I found: (someone correct me if I'm wrong! I'm still improving my minor scales and it took me a while.)

can't open first one

<Fire Power>
Ebm (add9 => b3) | Bb7/D (susb9 => 1) | Ebm/Db (add9 => b3) | Gm7b5/C C7
Cb7 (sus4 => 3, but melody is 4 => 5) | GbMaj7/Bb (1 => maj7) | F7/A (1 => b7) | Ebm/Bb Bb
All about chromatic descending.

<Undertaker>
i (=Bm) | i | iv v VI | - - V
Melody's like: b3 ~ ~ b6 b7 1 ~ 7

<Overdose>
I don't really know how to label the rhythm, so I simply spit everything out and put an asterisk to denote the anchors:
G#m* D# G#m* G#m D# B C# B C#* add6 D#*
Note the ascending 6th in B C# B before C#*
And follow the lead melody: b3 ~ b3 2 b3 ~ b3 2 b3 4 5 6(8va down) 2 7

<Love & War>
G#madd9 | - | G#m6 | E Eadd9
Melody's like: 1+2 ~ b6+1 ~ b6 b7

I won't really say any specific "chord progression" but they mostly happen as an outcome of walking on the scale. I'd bet the composer simply sit in front of keyboard and recorded whatever sounded in feel :)
