Layoffs can mean so many different things, but as a buyer its hard to know what to expect.
I have a perpetual license, but my sub is up in March. More than likely I'll let the subscription run out and then simply wait to see what happens, as well as wait until the renewal price makes sense (since it jumps from $99 to $299 after the sub is up - such a terrible model IMO).
