Hi,
I am coming here looking for advice on where to place my desk in a small project home studio. It will be in my bedroom so I have to consider the queen size bed in my room.
I have a 12' x 16' x 10'(h) room. On the short walls, one side is a window while the opposite end has a mirror sliding closet (10' x 10').
What is the best orientation for me to place my desk and what would you advise will give me the best monitoring/mixing situation?
Thanks!

seriously...if this is your bedroom...then set it up however it works best as a living space. then work out how to make the desk work as best as possible for mixing/mastering from where ever you put it to make the room work as best as possible as a multi purpose living space.

I contacted GIK Acoustics. They told me to put my desk on the long wall before even looking at any acoustic treatment.

Gaslighting...is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.
