Is there an easy way to take a vocal performance and match up each word that has been sung.. And match them up to the timing of a specific kit piece in a midi and or audio drum performance that has a completely different and off the grid timing? Melodyne?

Example

Vocal performance is off time
Drum performance is off time

and you want to keep it off time but synch up each word sung to specific drum hits

Yeah you could beat match them together by lowering the pitch and tempo of each audio clip until you get the timing close enough.

In Cubase you can stretch and move your recorded Audio with Audio Warp and Elastic Audio.

Yeah I'm thinking anything where I can have markers on each vocal part and drag each part to line up with the hits on the other track. Some sort of chopper. I never really use those. Maybe it's time

You can do this with warp markers in Live.

Perfect! As long as I can line up two tracks one on top and one below while doing this.

Something like this?

And be able to just move the parts in one track to line them up with the other track. Can this be done with Phatmatik pro?
