Banks full of sequences and arps?

Thought I'd get a discussion going on this topic...

What are people's opinion on banks full of ready-made sequence and arp patches? For the longest time I never really delved into that stuff much, as my philosophy has always been "synths are meant to be played like a real instrument".

That said, they're just plain fun to make once you get used to working that way, and I can see why producers working on a short deadline would see them as a valuable time saving tool. I've been doing 3rd party work recently which required a large number of these, and finally feel confident enough to release my own sequence/arp collections for various synths. For those who use arps/sequences, what specific details do you look for?

Bryan.. arps and mid bass sequences and percusive sequences are very important to me.. I would be glad to check some of yours out!!
